Visit to tapestry weaving Dovecot Studios as an end of term treat for City and Guilds embroidery course. Mindblowing the time and dedication required, but also can understand how it could become strangely addictive. The big project at the time was a Victoria Crowe painting being reinterpreted as a tapestry. I would love to be rich enough to be able to commission tapestries!
